Icosagen Cell Factory OÜ has been awarded a medal in recognition of its sustainability achievements

Icosagen Group and Icosagen Cell Factory as leading European mammalian proteins production specialist believe in minimizing its ecological impact, as one of its fundamental moral and economical cornerstones. 

EcoVadis is one of the world's largest and most trusted providers of business sustainability ratings, working with more than 100 000 companies in 175 countries and 200 industries. It assesses other companies' actions and practices regarding their corporate, and social responsibility around four main subjects: labor & human rights, ethics, sustainable procurement, and environmental impact. It is based on leading standards, such as ISO 26000, and is supervised by an international scientific committee and headquartered in France. 

Icosagen Cell Factory has initiated several strategies to improve its environmental influence and for this was awarded a bronze medal. This, together with the rating assessment experience, gave us the valuable opportunity to see our strengths, but also helped us to identify aspects where to still focus our efforts. Icosagen Cell Factory and its employees want to contribute to building a sustainable business strategy and therefore will work towards improving its rating in the coming evaluation.
