RBP4 as a Biomarker for Metabolic Diseases

We are excited to announce that at Icosagen, we now offer high-quality RBP4 antibodies and antigens!

Retinol-binding protein 4, or RBP4, is a crucial transporter that carries vitamin A from the liver to the periphery. Vitamin A is essential for a variety of biological processes, including vision, immune function, and cell growth and differentiation. RBP4 has great potential as a biomarker in the diagnostics field, especially in diagnosing metabolic diseases. It supports the identification of a broad range of disorders, including obesity, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, type 2 diabetes, nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), nonalcoholic fatty liver (NAFL), cardiovascular diseases, and more.

RBP4 antibodies support the identification of cardiovascular diseases, NASH, NAFL, type 2 diabetes, CKD, obesity.

We have carefully developed and validated our RBP4 antibodies to ensure high sensitivity and specificity for RBP4 detection. We have four clones available - 6C2, 10G3, 11A6, 14D5. Each of the clones has been extensively tested and shown to have excellent performance.

With our RBP4 antibodies as a biomarker, you can accurately identify patients who are at risk of these metabolic diseases, allowing for earlier intervention and better patient outcomes. In addition to our antibodies, we offer a range of RBP4 antigens.
