Icosagen provides production of virus like
particles (VLPs) pseudotyped with membrane proteins, such as ion-channels, receptors,
viral glycoproteins etc. For formation of VLPs we use retroviral (HIV-1 or MLV) gag
protein. VLP-s we produces in 293 or CHO-based QMCF cell
lines.
Produced pseudotyped VLP-s are suitable for receptor or ion-channel
functionality investigation, screening of antibodies, immunization experiments,
vaccine development etc.
